As long as I can remember, music has been an important part of my life. Coming from a musical family, I remember watching my dad rehearse new songs with his band in clubs. I have always loved the smell and feel of a club, a reminder and connection to my childhood and musical background. At twelve years old I wrote my first song, and from that day, being a songwriter was all I wanted to do. Often, in the middle of the night, I wake up with a melody in my head. It's who I am.
